At that time, Steve Jobs was not CEO of the company. He was speaking as an advisor to the company.&nbsp;In this extract, Steve Jobs answers an challenging and rather agressive question from one the participant. His response elevate the debate and until today remain one of the best advice that businesses could take on product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-left is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p><em>One of the things I\u2019ve always found is that you\u2019ve got to start with the customer experience and work backwards to the technology. <\/em><\/p><p><em>You can\u2019t start with the technology and try to figure out where you\u2019re going to try to sell it. <\/em><\/p><p><em>I\u2019ve made this mistake probably more than anybody else in this room, and I\u2019ve got the scar tissue to prove it. And I know that it\u2019s the case.<\/em><\/p><p><em>As we have tried to come up with a strategy and a vision for Apple, it started with \u201dWhat incredible benefits can we give to the customer? Where can we take the customer?\u201d not starting with, \u201cLet\u2019s sit down with the engineers and figure out what awesome technology we have and then how are we going to market that.\u201d.<\/em><\/p><p><em>And I think that\u2019s the right path to take.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover has-background-dim\"><video class=\"wp-block-cover__video-background\" autoplay muted loop src=\"https:\/\/debane.org\/franck\/wp-content\/uploads\/Customer-Experience-Steve-Jobs-Apple.mp4\"><\/video><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-cover-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-large-font-size\"><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few months later, when Steve Jobs became new CEO, Apple was on the the verge of bankruptcy. Under his leadership, Steve Job reinvented the company to become one the most successful company in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Innovation&nbsp;grow business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When doing business, you decide\u00a0what are the fundamental directions you want to take.
