Those have been shut down by Google amongst over 280 other projects.
Check out this list: the oldest killed product is the Google Toolbar, retired after 21 years.
- Some projects led to features in new products.
- Some projects were acquired startups, and the product didn't survive the merger.
- Some projects just didn't have enough customers.
Tech evolves fast, and Google still has some agility to kill projects that don't work.
