SpaceX plans to A/B test its Starship rocketship builds
Ars Technica reported in May 2019 that SpaceX was building two Starship prototypes in parallel, in Texas and in Florida, as a competition between two teams. Each team had to share what it learned, without being forced to use the other's ideas: not a strict A/B test, but a way of iterating on hardware that tech companies such as Google use for software.
