Leo Babauta (Zen Habits) wrote his book Zen Habits: Mastering the Art of Change the way software is built: a « minimum viable book » written chapter by chapter for ten alpha testers who put it into practice, then revised from their feedback, iteration after iteration, instead of writing alone for a year.
